Women's Self Defense Class

Masters George and Greg Kosty have developed a women's
self defense curriculum specifically designed on the skills
women need to defend themselves against a larger, male attacker.

Women's class meets every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Classes include instruction and practice in:

  • Instinct and Awareness
  • Stances and Balance
  • Punching and Kicking
  • Grab Escapes
  • Leverages

Q: What kind of commitment do I need to make?
A: None, We operate on a pay-as-you-go basis.
You can attend class every week of just occasionally,
you only have to pay for the classes you attend.

Q: Do I need to be in shape to enjoy the class?
A: No, All physical abilities can benefit from the class.
A portion of each class is devoted to warm-up,
light cardiovascular and stretching.
You can participate at your own pace, techniques
are taught at a slow speed and can benefit
anyone at any stage in thier training.

Q: What kind of environment is it? Can I come by myself?
A:Absolutely, most of the women who attend the class started
attending on thier own. The atmosphere is safe and non-judgmental.

Q: What kind of equipment do I need?
A:None. You can wear any type of workout clothes
(sweats pants, t-shirts, ect.). We generally go barefoot
during class. Water and rest rooms are provided.

Q: How much does it cost?
A:The first class is free. If you
enjoy it, each class after the first is $10
and you can pay as you go. There is no
long term contract of commitment.
